The Port Washington Garden Club's 2018 Garden Walk was a great success. Thanks to everyone who visited, and special thanks to the gardeners who generously shared their beautiful gardens with us!
Plants of Interest
Several plants generated a lot of interest. For those who are interested, here is the information on those plants:
This tree, located in the front yard of Garden #4, got a lot of attention. It's a Katsura tree, native to China and Japan. There is an excellent data sheet on the plant at the Missouri Botanical Garden website, at THIS LINK.
Also located in the front yard of Garden #4, many people were interested in what these blue flowers are:
These are Larkspur (Delphinium consolida), a member of the Delphinium family. More information is available at THIS LINK.
